Itineraries

Day 1

Date : May 25, 2025

Arrive at Bagdogra and Transfer to Phuentsholing

Your journey begins as you arrive at Bagdogra Airport. Meet and greet by our representative,
followed by a scenic 4-hour drive to Phuentsholing, the gateway town of Bhutan. Upon arrival,
check in to your hotel and relax. Spend the evening exploring the local markets or enjoying
leisure time at your hotel.

Day 2

Date : May 26, 2025

Complete Immigration Formalities and Drive to Thimphu

After breakfast, complete immigration formalities. Begin your drive to Thimphu, Bhutan’s
charming capital city, which takes approximately 6 hours. En route, visit Kharbandi Gompa, a
serene monastery offering panoramic views of the surrounding valley. On arrival in Thimphu,
visit the Changangkha Lhakhang Monastery, an ancient temple revered by locals for blessings
and protection.

Day 3

Date : May 27, 2025

Excursion to Dochula Pass and Punakha Dzong

Post breakfast, drive to Dochula Pass (3,100 meters), famous for its 108 memorial chortens and
spectacular views of the Eastern Himalayas. Continue to Punakha Dzong, an architectural
masterpiece located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. Explore the historic
dzong before returning to Thimphu in the evening.

Day 4

Date : May 28, 2025

Thimphu Sightseeing and Transfer to Paro

Spend the morning exploring Thimphu's cultural and historical landmarks:

1. Buddha Dordenma, a towering golden Buddha statue overlooking the valley
2. Tashi Cho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan’s government and religious offices
3. Takin Zoo, home to Bhutan's national animal, the Takin
4. Simply Bhutan, an interactive museum showcasing Bhutanese traditions

Later, embark on a 2-hour drive to Paro. Enjoy the tranquil ambiance of Paro upon arrival.

Day 5

Date : May 29, 2025

Tiger’s Nest Hike or Chele La Pass Excursion

Today, choose between two incredible experiences:

1. Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (Taktsang): A 5-hour trek to one of Bhutan’s most iconic
and sacred sites perched on a cliff at 3,120 meters. The hike offers stunning views and
deep spiritual significance.
2. Chele La Pass Excursion: A 2-hour scenic drive to the highest motorable pass in Bhutan
(3,810 meters), known for its breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks, including Mt.
Jhomolari, and colorful prayer flags fluttering in the wind.

Day 6

Date : May 30, 2025

Transfer to Siliguri

After breakfast, bid farewell to Bhutan, complete exit formalities at Phuentsholing, and switch
to your Indian vehicle. Enjoy the scenic drive to Siliguri, arriving by evening. Relax and unwind
with a well-deserved dinner and rest. Overnight stay at Siliguri.

Day 7

Date : May 31, 2025

Transfer to Bagdogra for Onward Journey

After an early breakfast, drive to Bagdogra Airport (30 mins drive) for your flight back home.
Relish the memories of a mesmerizing Bhutanese adventure.
