The Story of Beyond Mountains – A Journey of Passion and Resilience
From the world of pixels to mountain peaks, Beyond Mountains wasn’t always about adventure. For 20 years, the corporate realm was Sameer’s personal Everest to conquer. However, the call of the wild, the allure of distant lands, grew stronger with each passing year.
Sameer’s love for the outdoors dates to my college days, where I embarked on countless treks and bike rides. This passion fueled his pursuit of knowledge, leading him to earn an Ornithology certification and complete a basic mountaineering course at the prestigious Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering in Pahalgam.
An avid mountaineer, traveler, and nature enthusiast at heart, Sameer finally decided to trade spreadsheets for sunsets, and boardrooms for breathtaking vistas. For the past 6 years, Sameer nurtured this passion alongside his corporate life, laying the groundwork for Beyond Mountains. Beyond Mountains facilitated hundreds of events, from trekking adventures to safaris and relaxing family tours. Beyond Mountains, a full-time leisure & adventure company, was born from this burning desire to share Sameer’s passion for exploration with others.
Taking the Leap
In 2023 Sameer decided to put his entire strength behind the brand – brain and brawn both and he quit his IT job of 20 years to focus full time on Beyond Mountains.
Today, Beyond Mountains soars as a registered company, a testament to Sameer’s unwavering passion for the outdoors and travel.
